Sandeep heads the cyber security practice for Capgemini Consulting in the UK. He has over 16 years of sell and buy side cybersecurity leadership experience ranging from establishing cybersecurity consulting practices for global consulting organisations to owning and managing information risk for large global institutions. He has also been a trusted adviser for private equity firms investing in the cybersecurity space in the UK.
Identity and Access Management (IAM) is an area of great interest and expertise for Sandeep having been pivotal to the IAM journeys of many global firms. An experience that he is particularly proud of is leading one of the first of IAM transformation programmes in the UK in the early 2000s, creating a single IAM platform front ending all of the eCommerce offerings of a large insurer. The eCommerce offering along with its IAM capability was a huge success winning many awards and growing to serve 1.5 million customers in the first two years post launch. Some of the challenges faced on that early journey and the clever innovations used to overcome them such as agile delivery and automated testing have enabled Sandeep to help many a subsequent client with critical insight and advice on shaping their IAM roadmaps.
More recently, Sandeep has been spearheading Capgemini’s thought leadership in the Cloud and DevOps security advisory area particularly the use of Identity as a Service to simplify IAM adoption and secure Digital transformations.
