Angelika is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry, with a particular emphasis on Identity & Access Management (IAM) for more than two decades. Her expertise spans across various roles, from executive consulting to managing global IAM teams. Presently, she holds the position of CTO for IAM at IBM Consulting EMEA, where she delves into advanced topics like GenAI and IAM integration, Identity Fabric, and provides strategic advice to clients.
Committed to share her knowledge, Angelika is a regular speaker at industry events and an author, leveraging her expertise and broad experience. She is also an active member of several professional organizations including ISACA, the global "Women in Identity" organization, and the WID Ambassador for the DACH region.
Angelika's academic background began with a Diploma in Mathematics complemented by a minor in Physics. She further pursued a Ph.D. in Mathematics, concentrating on Cryptography (Anonymous Communication in Computer Networks), which she completed at J. Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany. It was here where she started her successful journey in Cybersecurity.
