I'm the person who is introducing you to some housekeeping slides, but afterwards, we are just running into the keynotes into our highlight sessions today. So like I said, welcome to our conference this year and I start with some platform features.
I hope all of you, of course, have downloaded the app on the app store. You have some features here you can network, stay informed about, yeah, our networking sessions, any upcoming highlights, and interact with other people and ask questions. So if you want to be more interacting here, yeah, just download. If he doesn't have yet, gamification is our next step. Wow, great to see such a full room on the first day. This is brilliant. It's great to be here. I'd like to extend my own welcome to Berlin and to EIC. This year I'm one of the analysts at keeping a cold bed. I also work quite closely with the events and the marketing team, so I know how much time, care and preparation has gone into making this a great week for all of us to enjoy together.
I'm delighted to be hosting the keynote sessions this week, but later on today, when we turn our attention to EID IDAs and Identity and Decentralized Identity, I will be joined by subject matter expert es, who will be this year co-moderator, the track on e IDAs and decentralized identity. But that's just one of six tracks. So this year we've got over 200 hours of content and over 320 speakers. But Y has asked me to tell you, don't be overwhelmed, just choose the sessions that you want to interact with because you are members and you are here. You can always catch up on, on the video.
So regular attendees will know that EIC is special, but this year is special for another reason. While Coop a Cole's event is certainly a team effort and just about everybody is involved in bringing this event for you together. The the undisputed father and certainly the driving force behind EIC, of course is co-founder RK Resh.
Now, although it seems highly unlikely that he'll ever hang up his cycling shoes or his water shoes, he is, however, retiring from EIC later this year. So that means this is gonna be while he's retiring from Coing a coal I should say. So this means it's gonna be his last EIC. After nearly two phenomenal decades, y who's now left the room, we will be sad to see you go, but I'm sure everyone in this room will recognize that in the IEIC. He's created something truly outstanding and unique. So can you please join me in a round of applause for yur and I'm sure he is listening on the sideline.
Thank you very much. So he'll be certainly going out with a bang because this year's agenda is gonna be delivering in spades and it's been kept a fine eye over by yur himself and topping that agenda.
