Marcus Westen ist in seiner Position als Business Development Manager u.a. für die Bereiche IT Security und Identity & Access Management (IAM) bei ITConcepts verantwortlich. Er verfügt über Zertifizierungen zum CISSP (ISC²), Datenschutzbeauftragten (TÜV) und ITIL Foundation sowie diversen Herstellerzertifikaten zu den Lösungen der Partnerfirmen Dell, SailPoint, CA und IBM. Darüber hinaus hat er Trainings im Projektmanagement, Controlling und Zeitmanagement sowie für rechtliche Anforderungen, z.B. HIPAA, Basel (II/III) und MARisk, durchlaufen. Zuvor war zehn Jahre lang IT-Leiter eines mittelständischen Unternehmens, bevor er bei BMC Software und CA sein Wissen weiter ausbaute und im Jahr 2006 zu ITConcepts wechselte.
