Ralf Wiesmann joined CGI in March 2007 and is responsible for CGI's mobility practice in Central Europe. Ralf and his team help customers to analyse and implement their mobile business opportunities in the consumer and in the enterprise space. This incorporates consumer solutions, like mobile portals and mCommerce, and productivity solutions like mobile sales force and field force. CGI is hereby able to act as a real end-to-end solution provider covering the complete chain from the initial business idea up to managed service offerings.
Before CGI, Ralf was COO of Vodafone Terenci, a company specialised on mobile data business. Ralf established a sound and profitable consulting- and mobile application business from 2001 to 2007.
Before joining Vodafone Terenci, Ralf was CTO and spokes person of Nokia Networks in Germany. Ralf was heading Nokia's sales support team of around 70 employees. He was actively involved in selling UMTS networks to mobile operators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He further represented Nokia Networks as a spokes person on several conferences and press events.
