Michael Boley ist seit über 15 Jahren in der IT Branche aktiv. Nach einigen Jahren in der Softwareentwicklung mit dem Schwerpunkt Teilnehmerverwaltung in Telekommunikationsnetzen und Netzwerkaufbau im Rahmen der deutschen Einheit, mehr als fünf Jahren als Projektmanager für große und mittelgroße Softwareprojekte übernahm er 2002 die Verantwortung einen Geschäftsbereich mit dem Schwerpunkt Identity Management aufzubauen.
Im Jahr 2006 wechselte Herr Boley zu CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants (Deutschland) GmbH. Schwerpunkt seiner heutigen Tätigkeit ist der Aufbau einer "Identity and Access Management" (IAM) Practice, die Lösungen von der strategischen Beratung bis Implementierung aus einer Hand anbietet. Eingebunden in eine Organisation mit weitreichenden Erfahrungen auf dem Gebiet IAM, in Europa und Nordamerika, integriert sich das Angebot in CGI´s umfassende Business Process Management Expertise und branchenspezifische IT Lösungen.
