1 Executive Summary
The Information Protection Life Cycle (IPLC) and Framework describe the phases, methods, and controls associated with the protection of information. The IPLC documents three stages in the life of information and multiple categories of controls that can be applied to secure information. In this article, we discuss the second set of controls in the Active Use Life phase called Secure. As you might imagine, securing information assets involves many potential actions.
