In these sessions we will look to the future of user entitlement. The static procedures we have used in the past have been found wanting as we envisage a future in which there are no longer any passwords to remember, phishing is more difficult and AI changes the traditional skills associated with identity and access management (IAM).
FIDO2 has reached a level of maturity that demands enterprise attention. All major technology suppliers in the IAM sector are members of the FIDO Alliance and it is therefore a known component of the authentication mix that must be evaluated in order to determine the applicability of FIDO to the protection of corporate assets. While the technology holds significant benefits for the enterprise, there are financial and operation impacts that must be assessed. Companies must establish a strategy and communicate corporate policy in regard to when and how FIDO technology is to be deployed,
We will then look into the future to consider cross-disciplinary expertise and perspectives that will break down the IAM silos and require a creative solution to providing integrated solutions to the authentication and authorization task.
We will also consider the accelerating adoption of eIDAS across many jurisdictions and how the increasing availability of identity validation capabilities might change our approach to IAM.
A panel discussion will analyze the disruption that AI, in particular Large Language Models (LLMs) will have on the IAM sector.
