This EIC Deep Dive track provides an in depth look at issues related to digital trust and decentralized identity.

Verification, privacy and online security  is still a major challenge that organizations face. There are many techniques being discussed at data, architecture and governance framework level to resolve this seemingly ever green challenge. Moreover, theoretical discussions might differ from real time deployments. Complex authorization cases and legacy can anchor progress, leaving organizations with a compromised security posture.

With eIDAS2 now planning to develop a European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW) for valid signatures across Europe, and many other solutions such as graph based approach for risk reduction and open policy agent for policy decisions, will the degree of convolution around the topics of trust and decentralization reduce?

This track aims at discussing decentralized identity, the eiDAS regulation, trusted data ecosystems and modern policy decision tools can help face these challenges.
