TRACK
Friday, May 13, 2022 10:30—12:30
Location: B07-08

The world is moving towards a period of reduced stability and of uncertainty, which is caused, amongst other things, by a significant increase of cyberattacks through ransomware and espionage. It has therefore become and it will remain an ongoing main concern to increase cyber resilience of our IT systems and keep it high. But what about industrial environments in production and supply chain? Airgap based security is gone, everything is networked today. It therefore isn´t a surprise that figures in most recent studies show a significant increase of successful ransomware attacks that have used vulnerabilities within OT and critical infrastructures.

In this EIC2022 track we will discuss about the challenges to apply cybersecurity programs to OT environments.
