Prof. Dr. Paul Lukowicz will explore the transformative potential of combining generative AI with wearable and ubiquitous computing technologies. Drawing on over 25 years of research in embedded intelligence and human-AI interaction, he will discuss how multimodal foundational models and vision-enabled large language models are poised to revolutionize wearable computing.

The talk will highlight recent advancements in context-aware systems, multi-modal sensing, and human-AI collaboration, demonstrating how these technologies can create intelligent assistants that seamlessly integrate into users' daily lives.

Prof. Lukowicz will also address the challenges and opportunities in developing ethical, human-centric AI systems for ubiquitous use, drawing insights from his work on projects like HumanE AI-Net.
