The threats to cyber security are diverse - and so are the attack vectors. In recent years, artificial intelligence has increasingly proven to be a growing cyber security risk. To deal with the risks of AI, the first European AI Act recently came into force. Expectations are high, but this piece of legislation alone will not be able to protect us from cyber threats. In his keynote speech, Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker will explain why a preventive approach according to the state of the art of technology is more important than abstract regulation and how the EU NIS2 Directive and the Cyber Resilience Act are linked to this very specific and current challenge.
