Reducing the Species in your Cybersecurity Zoo

Combined Session
Friday, May 13, 2022 11:00—11:30
Location: A03-04

Many organizations today don't suffer from a lack of cybersecurity & identity tools. They have many, but not always the ones they need. They sometimes even have too many tools for delivering value.

Christopher Schütze and Martin Kuppinger will provide advice on how to assess the cybersecurity & identity tools landscape of organizations, and how to measure the value contribution (e.g., risk mitigation) of such solutions. They will look at methodologies that help in identifying the tools you should keep, the tools you better retire, and the gaps you must fill.

They also will discuss what it needs beyond tools: Which organization and TOM (Target Operating Model) do you need to create value out of the tools? How do you select the right tool for filling the gap or when replacing a tool?
