This workshop is in two parts. Initially we will review the major IoT sectors and discuss how sensitive each is to three metrics: Safety, Security and Privacy. We will discuss the vulnerabilities of an IoT deployment in the areas of device management, communications, controller functionality and human-machine interfaces.
In the second part of the workshop participants will choose an IoT segment and will then be assigned a role in an IoT Project Team deploying an IoT solution for that sector. Project Team meetings will address typical scenarios in the process of planning and deploying their selected IoT solution.
