Everyone has the right to keep full control over their digital identity. Digital self-determination - as it has been incorporated into law in most regions of the world, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU - is the most fundamental principle of how our digital lives should be organized. Seamlessly integrating this right into daily life and the way we do digital business is the key element of what we are discussing not only at this conference. Decentralized Identity (DID) or "Self-Sovereign Identity" is using blockchain or similar DLT (Distributed Ledger Technologies) to provide solutions solving the challenge of user centric identity management. In this discussion coffee & inspiration lounge session we will talk about DID and how digital value chains can benefit from this new approach.
Anne Bailey, who will be hosting this session, has recently published the KuppingerCole Privacy and Consent Management Leadership Compass. During this session, you will receive a copy of this Compass.
