Broadcom has introduced light-weight desktop agent that allows users to connect to target systems using privileged account without having to log into the PAM user interface directly. Users can use their own tools for connecting and PAM will manage the credentials behind the scenes.

Forcepoint
Forcepoint is a private US multinational cybersecurity company headquartered in Austin, Texas. Although established in 2016 through a merger of Raytheon Cyber Products, Websense, Stonesoft, and Sidewinder, the company traces its roots back to network security firm NetPartners, founded in 1994, and rebranded as Websense in 1999. The bulk of Forcepoint’s customers are medium-sized enterprises, followed by mid-market companies.

Fortra
Fortra (formerly HelpSystems) is a private US cybersecurity and automation company founded in 1982 and based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing a growing range of solutions through acquisitions, including Digital Guardian for DLP.

Digital Guardian is able to monitor all endpoints, including file servers, laptops, mobile phones, and network attached storage, but not point of sale (PoS) systems or industrial control systems (ICS).
GTB Technologies
GTB Technologies is a privately-owned and self-funded US data security company founded in 2004 and based in West Palm Beach in Florida. GTB Technologies sells directly to customers in the US, where it currently has its largest customer base, and through a network of distributors and resellers throughout the rest of the world.

ManageEngine
Headquartered in Pleasanton, US, ManageEngine is a part of the India-based Zoho Corporation founded in 1996. PAM360 is the company's main modular offering to the PAM market and offers key functionalities in an integrated fashion.

ManageEngine makes a play of its "smart" workflow automation and there is credibility to this with integration with Automation Anywhere and integration with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceDesk Plus and Service Now.
Proofpoint
Proofpoint is a private cybersecurity and compliance company founded in 2002 with global headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. The company offers a range of solutions, including email security, advanced threat protection, cloud security, DLP, security awareness, insider risk management, deception technology and archive & compliance solutions. This report covers the Proofpoint Sigma Information Protection Platform solution that includes data leakage prevention functionality.

The solution has good coverage of cloud environments. It is able to look for data in all cloud applications and data stores in all cloud services; it can protect all sensitive data in the cloud when it is in use, in motion, and at rest; it provides functionality to record the identity of users of external cloud services; and it provides a risk rating for cloud services or applications discovered to be in use.
Safetica
Safetica is a private Czech data security company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Prague, with most customers in the small and medium sized enterprise bracket and with the largest concentration of customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), followed by Latin America.

Safetica provides both an on-prem (Safetica One) and cloud-native DLP and insider threat protection solution (Safetica NXT) with a simple user-based licensing model, depending on the customer environment.
Trellix
Trellix is a relatively new brand formed from the acquisitions and reorganizations of FireEye, and the McAfee enterprise and security service edge (SSE) businesses by Symphony Technology Group (STG). Trellix is a privately held cybersecurity company and is based in San Jose, California. The company launched in January 2022 with the combined security heritage, customer base, and assets from its parent organizations, including endpoint, network security, and data leakage prevention (DLP) components.
Why worth watching
The Trellix DLP offering is based on tightly integrated McAfee technologies, although the CASB, SSE, and cloud focused elements of McAfee’s SSE business have been spun out by STG as a separate company, known as Skyhigh Security.
