Stephen Curran is the Sovrin Foundation's Board of Trustees Chair, and has worked with, and volunteered at, the non-profit Foundation for the almost 7 years that the Sovrin MainNet global distributed ledger has been flawlessly operating. He leads the international Sovrin Board of Trustees in the mission of “Identity for All” by working to ensure the Sovrin MainNet, built on Hyperledger Indy, is the best governed, most technically sound, and secure root for organizations’ decentralized identity solutions. In addition to his work with Sovrin, Stephen has worked with the Government of British Columbia on open source decentralized identity software, specifications and standards for 7 years, most notably contributing to the Linux Foundation's Hyperledger Indy, Aries and AnonCreds projects. He is also a member of Hyperledger’s Technical Oversight Committee.
