Klaeri Schelhowe
Klaeri was most recently contracted through Scheddebrock Ltd. to act as the Executive Director for Trust Alliance New Zealand Inc. (TANZ). This industry consortium is working to create a digital infrastructure that allows farmers, growers, and other parties such as food producers, processors, retailers and exporters to easily capture and share data while keeping it secure, protected and controllable. In this role she established the organisation to focus on trusted data sharing within the primary sector. She actively led various work programs to pioneer decentralised technology, exploring its value proposition and benefits for industry.
Collaborating with leading industry players, government agencies, academic and industry associations, Klaeri actively contributes as an advisor and member of various councils and groups, including the Data Interoperability Agriculture Council of Ministry of Primary Industries NZ, Data Reference Group, and the Biodegradable RFID Research program driven by the University of Auckland. She is also a member of the UN/CEFACT Working Group and is a representative at Digital Identity NZ and AgriTech NZ.
Klaeri is a committed leader, dedicated to fostering innovation and enhancing collaboration across industry sectors to create a more secure and transparent digital economy. Her passion is addressing the often neglected human factors to pave the way for effective deployment of technology.
