Venture investor with focus on early stage startups based in San Francisco. I lead Okta Ventures overseeing the fund to invest in startups enabled by privacy, identity, and security. Investments include Kandji, Drata, VNDLY (Acq. by Workday), Openpath (Acquired by Motorola Solutions), Immuta, Tessian (Acq. by Proofpoint), Dig (Acq. by Palo Alto Networks), Pangea, and others. Previous to Okta I led Scrum Ventures US Investments. I've spent 10 years of my career investing in the US and internationally in venture capital, private equity, and corporate development. I have also worked in operational management consulting at Samsung and I began my career as an environmental researcher. I have an MBA from INSEAD and completed my BA in Environmental Studies and Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. My research was published with support from the National Science Foundation.
