Wim Coulier

Wim is involved for more than 20 years in trust services and electronic signature projects. Wim started in this area at a Certificate Authority creating at measure solutions for customers up to the implementation of the Belgian eID card. Later Wim was active in the implementation of a legal and standardization framework of trust services in a country outside the EU and in the implementation of several electronic signature projects. As identity and electronic signature expert. Wim is a founding partner of the identity and trust services consultancy company Trust Agency, consulting organizations setting up identity and trust services according to the eIDAS regulation. One of the main customers is Belgian Mobile ID whom Wim has supported through the setup of the itsme mobile identity product ( https://www.itsme-id.com/en-BE ). Wim is responsible for the recognition of the itsme product as eIDAS eIdentification Means Assurance Level High and the itsme Qualified Electronic Signature solution. Wim represents Trust Agency and its customers in the ETSI ESI working group and actively delivers input for the new trust services standards being developed by ETSI ESI.
