Shigeya Suzuki is a researcher with expertise in computer networks, distributed systems, and software development. He is an active member of W3C's DID and VC WG and is one of the key designers of Japan's Trusted Web Initiative and Originator Profile technology. Suzuki earned his Ph.D. from Keio University's Graduate School of Media and Governance and is currently a Project Professor at the same institution. He is also an Associate Director at the Data Architecture Laboratory and Trusted Internet Architecture Laboratory at Keio Research Institute at SFC. Suzuki is affiliated with prestigious organizations such as ACM, IEEE, IACR, IEICE, and IPSJ. He is also a board member of the WIDE Project, which initiated the Internet in Japan.
