Luigi Rizzo studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy, where he received his master’s degree in 1988. Later he focused on the fields of security, cryptography, PKI, digital signatures, secure authentication.
Since 2007 he has been working in InfoCert where he was responsible in the start-ups of some PKI and TSA systems for different customers and in the integration of remote digital signature and secure authentication functionalities in several projects for banks, public institutions, etc. Since 2011 he has been working in some ETSI ESI STFs dealing with standards about signatures formats, signature creation and validation, Trusted Service Providers supporting eSignatures/eSeals, testing signatures compliance & interoperability, policy and security requirements for TSP service components operating a remote QSCD / SCD and/or supporting AdES digital signature creation, protocols for remote digital signature creation and has been organizing some remote Plugtests™ events.
He achieved ISACA CISM certification in May 2012. He presently is managing innovation initiatives for InfoCert and is leading the Technical Committee of the Cloud Signature Consortium.
