His doctoral dissertation exploring Strategies to Avoid Cloud Computing Data Breaches has been well-received and has led to the publication of several successful textbooks, including "Implications of Cloud Computing for Small and Medium Enterprises", which can be found on Amazon. He is a recipient of the prestigious Microsoft Top Individual Developer MSDN Code Award.
Dr. Amanfi is the Chief Architect of the EmpowerID platform's Workflow Engine and is the company’s Resident Technology Evangelist, leading cutting-edge innovation projects that align with the company's vision and goals. He is considered one of the very few experts in the world who understand the new and emerging field of combining low-code orchestration (LCO), bot technologies, and Identity Governance and Administration.
Prior to joining EmpowerID more than 15 years ago, he worked as a Technical Software Architect and Solutions Consultant at Cyberplex Inc. and T4G Limited, respectively, where he played a leading role in major .NET and SharePoint projects for clients including Bank of Montreal, Deloitte Canada, CTV Channel 9, and Morgaurd Investments Limited.
