Markus Soppa is Managing Director and co-founder of Filancore GmbH, which offers solutions for decentralized identities around the Internet of Things. Previously, as Chief Development Officer at accessec GmbH, he was responsible for software and service development in context of IIoT and automotive security. As a specialist for connected devices, his focus is particularly on disruptive security technologies such as distributed ledgers (blockchain). He has applied his extensive know-how at leading automotive manufacturers in Germany, including as a consultant in the field of automotive security at Deloitte. In addition to his expertise in information security, he has in-depth knowledge of decentralized identities and IoT-PKI.
