Dr. Dirk Woywod has been Managing Director and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Verimi GmbH since 2018 a leading ID-Wallet provider in Germany. After completing his PhD in theoretical physics at the TU Berlin, he worked at McKinsey & Company between 2005 and 2009 as a project manager for IT, Telecommunications, Restructuring and Strategy projects. In 2010, he was employed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at betterplace.org. From 2010 to 2018, Dr. Woywod worked at Bundesdruckerei as Director and SVP responsible for products and services for digital identities.
