Karim el Abiary is responsible for IT & business process optimization at Creditplus. Since April 2020, he has strengthened Creditplus Bank as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and is responsible, among other things, for the company's entire IT strategy. On April 1, 2021, he completed the management of Creditplus as Chief IT Officer.
He comes from Caceis Bank S.A., a globally active securities transaction bank that belongs to the Crédit Agricole Group. As CIO of the German branch, he was responsible for the entire IT strategy for almost eight years. Previous positions include IBM, as a partner in Global Business Services, and at HVB Systems, the IT subsidiary of HVB, as CFO and Head of Professional Services. He studied at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and holds a degree in physics.
