Sebastian is a serial tech entrepreneur and digitisation expert, supporting governments around the world with large-scale implementations of technology.
He is currently working as Technical Consultant for the World Bank´s Identity for Development Group (ID4D). Previously, he worked as an Advisor on Digital Identity for the German Chancellery and as Chief Operating Officer of the world´s only nonprofit biometrics company (Simprints), where he raised over $15m and oversaw programmes reaching over 1,000,000 people across 12 countries. Sebastian has an academic background in development economics with a BA from the University College London, an MPhil from the Cambridge University, and ExecEd from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
