Oct 21, 2024

As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, so do the cybersecurity challenges it brings. AI-enabled cyber threats are opening up new attack vectors, posing significant risks to organizations across industries. At cyberevolution 2024, Dennis-Kenji Kipker, Research Director at cyberintelligence.institute, will address these pressing concerns in his keynote.

Dennis will highlight the growing complexity of AI-related risks and explain why relying solely on regulations like the recently enacted EU AI Act won't be enough to protect against emerging threats. Instead, he advocates for a more proactive approach, using advanced AI-driven tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection. His session will explore how organizations can build resilient defenses by integrating AI technology into their cybersecurity strategies, while ensuring that new regulatory frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive and Cyber Resilience Act work in harmony with these technological advancements.

For professionals navigating the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and regulation, Dennis' insights will be invaluable in understanding how to mitigate risks and stay ahead of potential threats. In the meantime, watch our interview with him to get insights into how these emerging regulations are designed to keep up with evolving cyber threats and ensure a safer digital future.
