Bernd Achatz

Bernd Achatz has held the position of Technical Director at F5 Networks for the Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) region since November 2014. In this capacity, he assumes responsibility for providing technical sales support. With over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry, Mr. Achatz brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Prior to joining F5 Networks, he held various managerial roles at Avaya and Cisco. During his tenure as Technical Director DACH at Avaya, he oversaw technical sales support and sales for the Avaya Networking portfolio. Preceding this, Mr. Achatz spent 13 years at Cisco, where he held diverse managerial positions. In his most recent role as Senior Manager of Business Development, he played a pivotal role in the introduction of new technologies and products, including security, unified communication, and business video.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Achatz contributed to TP Consulting and Computer 2000 as an Internetworking Consultant. He embarked on his professional journey at a Nixdorf system house.

Mr. Achatz holds a qualification as a trained information electronics technician and resides with his wife and two children near the Tegernsee in Bavaria.
