Dr. Ing. Sibylle Hick

2011 Sibylle worked at German Bank as technical expert to design and develop a Data Leakage Protection solution. Besides DLP and Business Security she worked as Global Head of Identity & Access Strategy, Cloud and Architecture.

After University Sibylle started her career as a consultant for IT Security focusing on security related topics within Biometrics & electronic Identity Cards. From 2008 until early 2011 her work included projects in the business area “Government” and she also supported DAX 50 companies.

Sibylle continued her studies in the area of the liberalized energy market. This is also the sector she wrote her PhD in working at the chair for Data Communications Systems at the University of Siegen. Thereby, she participated in a research project Secure Electronic Measurement Exchange  government-funded by Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment awarded with the IT security award 2006.

She holds a degree of business informatics from the University of Siegen and participated in an exchange program taking classes in computer science at the University of Tulsa.
