Dr. Ralf Schneider

In the past 28 years with Allianz Ralf has had several executive and leadership positions. Just until recently Ralf was Allianz Group CIO over the past 13 years. Since October this year Ralf is Senior Fellow Cybersecurity and Next-Generation IT. In this role, Ralf is advising the board of Allianz-SE and Allianz Technology on future IT & security topics, as well as sharing his deep knowledge and experience with the next leadership team. 

Besides his career at Allianz, Ralf Schneider holds senior mandates in several Cyber Security related organizations like “Cyber Security Sharing & Analytics (CSSA) e.V.”, the “Deutsche Cyber Sicherheitsorganisation” (DCSO) as well as the Digital Society Institute (DSI) of the ESMT in Berlin.

He is also engaged as member of the Praesidium in the German Federal Association of IT Users (VOICE e.V.), as a senator of the National Academy of Science and Engineering (Acatech) and as an advisor of the German National research Center of applied Cybersecurity Athene.

Ralf Schneider graduated in mathematics and holds a doctor’s degree in computer science.
